Frances Joseph is an associate professor at the Auckland University of Technology. She is co-director of Colab Creative Technologies Research Institute and director of the Textile and Design Laboratory (TDL). She teaches papers in research methodology and creative entrepreneurship and supervises masters and PhD projects in areas of textile design and creative technologies. Her research interests include innovation through design and new technologies, the aesthetics of interaction, making, e-textiles, entrepreneurship, interdisciplinary and collaborative research methodology.
