Damian Lentini

Dr Damian Lentini's research examines the design and function of contemporary exhibition spaces; with a particular focus on the architecture of non-collecting or temporary sites. He has worked as a lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art and Design at Federation University in Ballarat, as well as teaching contemporary art at the University of Melbourne. He currently resides in Berlin, where he is completing a book on the history of contemporary art centres and Kunsthallen (to be published by Ashgate in 2015), as well as researching other kinds of ephemeral art platforms.
