Umberto Tolino

Umberto Tolino graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis for Philips Design. He has been involved in visual, product and interaction design since 1997. In 2002 and 2003 he was included in ADI Compasso d’Oro Design Index listings, and in 2007 was selected for the exhibition on The New Italian Design at the Milan Triennale. Since 2001, he has taught at the Design School and contributed to various master classes at Politecnico di Milano with topics based on digital and interaction design. Since 2010, he has been Assistant Professor at the Department of Design. For the last eight years, he has been visiting professor at Unisinos University of Porto Alegre, Brasil, with several workshops focused on territorial branding.
