Liv Merete Nielsen

Nielsen is a designer and professor of Art and Design Education at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. She gained her PhD from Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and her teacher training was conducted at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and Sagene Lærerskole in Oslo. Her research interests include design education, curriculum studies and spatial representations. Nielsen holds a guest professor position at the PhD programme in Culture Studies at Telemark University College. She is currently chairing the research network DesignDialog.
